Welcome to my blog.

I have decided to start a blog due to my feelings of frustration that I am feeling because I am poor, perhaps classed by some as being very poor. However I’m not poor in friends, ideas and spirit. I actively campaign every week outside Ashton Under Lyne Jobcentre to highlight the way the poor have been systematically targeted by this evil corrupt government.

We have not seen poverty like this since the 1930s and it is about time we as a nation stood up against this government. However it isn’t easy, people are demoralised and in poor health so every bit of action helps.

This blog will contain the ramblings of my everyday life. I hope that you enjoy reading it. Any opinions expressed in this blog will be my own opinions unless otherwise stated.

I also hope to be able to provide links to advice and local activism and social activities. Most of them will be free.

remember loose the fear and feel the freedom!

  1. Hello Charlotte, I heard about your Blog via Michael Herbert’s emails about Red Flag. I’m looking forward to following your posts as I’m active in Manchester Anti-Bedroom Tax Fed since last November. Maybe you have attended meetings before I joined? Anyway, looking forward to more communications via your own blog-spot.

    1. Thank you!! I’m an avid campaigner usually spotted at least once a week with a banner in my hand although at the moment Ashton under lyne Jobcentre is my target. I’m also a bedroom tax victim living on the poverty line. I also campaign against the bedroom tax and marched through manchester. I’m also an anti fracking campaigner lol. I bet we have bumped into each other at some point xxx

      1. Wow – quick reply. Thanks Charlotte – I’m sure we must have seen each other at least if not spoken. Are you going to the Bolton Protest on Saturday 4th (this Saturday). If you are I will look out for you. xo

      2. I’m just on the iPad lol and a little alarm rings so I thought let’s see what that was lol. Bolton might be a bit far and expensive but I never say never I might make it x
